Dr. Mary Anne Morelli Haskell, DO, FACOP, FCA is a dedicated and talented Osteopathic pediatrician for more than 27 years. After receiving her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific (COMP Pomona, CA.) she subsequently completed a pediatric residency at Loma Linda University to achieve and currently maintain pediatric board certification.
Influenced heavily while at COMP by Viola M Frymann, DO, she joined Dr. Frymann to practice osteopathic pediatrics for thirteen (13) years, starting at “the little yellow cottage” in La Jolla, CA. It was here, she began honing her expertise in supporting and treating the very challenging special needs children through Osteopathy. Consistent within the Osteopathic philosophy, she embarked on additionally addressing the health and potency of each patient through integrative disciplines such nutrition, supplements, homeopathy, exogenous toxin identification, and neurodevelopmental support to name a few. Currently, she continues her private practice of Osteopathy in Coronado, California and for the Osteopathic Center for Children San Diego, CA.
As a talented educator, she has lectured on the application of osteopathy’s approach to treating children in the United States, Europe, Japan, Australia, and has served as faculty for the Osteopathic Center for Children, Osteopathy’s Promise to Children, the Osteopathic Cranial Academy, and the Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation. She is an Associate professor and adjunct faculty for Western University of Health Sciences (WUHS) and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) while also serving as a clinical preceptor for osteopathic medical students interested in treating children osteopathically.
Dr. Haskell is a member and Fellow (FACOP) of the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians (ACOP), a member of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), American Academy of Osteopathy (AAO), Osteopathic Cranial Academy (OCA), and the Price Pottenger Foundation.
In 2019, Dr. Haskell was awarded Fellowship in the Osteopathic Cranial Academy (FCA) and holds Osteopathic Cranial Academy Certification of Proficiency. In 2016, the College d’Etudes Osteopathiques presented Dr. Morelli Haskell with the Viola Frymann award for excellence in osteopathic pediatrics.
