The American Academy of Osteopathy (AAO) has published the collected works of Viola M. Frymann D.O., F.A.A.O.
A book, commissioned by the AAO, presents a portion of the works written by Dr. Frymann in her service to humanity.

“These papers are some of the products of a truly remarkable career in osteopathic medicine, spanning over 50 years, and still going, writes Dr. Hollis King in his Editor’s Forward. “In these papers we see the manifestations of her life as a scientist, teacher, physician-healer, philosopher, mother, and steward of the profession.”

Dr. King points out that her work has had a great influence on the development of the practice of osteopathy world wide, an accomplishment which has resulted in an international reputation possibly even greater than in the USA.

He concludes: “It is hoped that this collection will constitute not only a tribute to Dr. Frymann’s illustrious career but also inculcate knowledge which will strengthen the practice of osteopathic medicine ensuring fulfillment of the dreams of the profession’s founder.”

Individual copies are priced at $75 for the hardbound edition and $65 for the softbound edition. The shipping and handling for mail orders is $7. Orders should be sent to: AAO, 3500 DePauw Boulevard, Suite 1080, Indianapolis, IN 46268-1136. Proceeds benefit the AAO and its programs.
